Description

This collection of photographs from over 40 years of rock n roll history includes iconic and enlightening images of rock stars from Bob Dylan and the Velvet Underground to The Beastie Boys and Nirvana; essays by acclaimed music writers such as Greil Marcus; and images by photographers such as Mick Rock, Kate Simon, and Laura Levine. It was published in conjunction with the exhibition of the same name, which showed at the PMA January 22—March 22, 2009.
